The Epistemic Crisis is a critical examination of the views of Mostafa Malekian. In his speeches and essays compiled in the book A Path to Liberation, he presents his perspectives on many issues currently debated in Iran’s intellectual landscape. From a modernist and secularist standpoint, Mr. Malekian critiques traditional Islamic thought. The Crisis of Knowledge challenges some of the views he expresses in that book. It is worth noting that this work does not critique all of Mr. Malekian’s ideas, but focuses solely on the content found in A Path to Liberation.
